Our handcrated reed baskets are crafted in the "old order" tradition of Amish crafting where each basket is handcrafted without any modern tools using hand drills, hand setting brads and hand dying the reeds. Amish work effort is with consideration of the final outcome wanting their craft work to be the very best they can create because they intend the products to be used for a lifetime, not just the moment. All basket images were taken on the front porch of the basket maker's home. There is a combination of 17 different choices to fulfill your interior decor requirements.

Our New Baskets line of exciting designs from the Amish Stutzman Family has been completed. The success of the Stutzman's has encouraged other Amish Families to join their efforts bringing new and exciting products to our inventory. As the items are added they will be featured on our New Baskets page so be sure to check for our updates which will include: sewing baskets, key holders, purses, picnic baskets, and original egg baskets in three sizes. Shortly our product line will also include special occasion gift baskets: Mother's Day, birthday, anniversaries, etc.

Our "old order" Amish reed baskets are handcrafted and if not in stock it may take two to three weeks for your basket to be crafted. Amish obligation to family and church is top priority of Amish tradition, then seasonal requirements: plowing, planting and canning so PLEASE when ordering have patience for your individual handcrafting. During canning season crafting time is sparse and during holiday seasons orders need to be placed early enough to be ensured of on time delivery.
